Charlie - my old friend, I still miss you very very much. I have been seeing you in my dreams a lot lately, and hope maybe you are missing me some too. Years pass by - but memories are as clear and crisp as ever. a Favorite is when we went to the Clapton Concert, and he played almost cut my hair today - and I was like - or I must unbraid mine and let it fly - and you did too - tho you never wore it 'un-ponied' in public - you did that night - with me. I love that memory. and I love and miss you too

Hey Charlie! I was doing errands today and I was walking from 8th Street and there was a man standing out side of CVS. He had long white hair in a ponytail and although he was a bit heavier than you it took my breath a way for a moment. I still think about you and miss you. Sometimes, I forget that loved ones have gone on and I see or hear things that I think Oh! Mom or Chrlie would like this and then reality sets in but, you are deep within my heart and so shall you always be. Lots of Love, Sam, Stella Dallas and Snowy
PS Marc and I have such a wonderful friendship and he has been so good to me. He is a fine upstanding man and I know why you loved him. He is indeed a very special man in my life. Sometimes, we go to the Pup and drink some beer's and fix the world and talk about deep subjects and beliefs but, we always speak of you in one way or another. Until next time....

Well Grey, It has been a year now and it is still hard to believe you are actually gone from us. I know that you are with us day to day in memory and spirit. I still have you in my address book hoping that I may get an e-mail from you. I miss our chat's and you. I got a new kitty and he looks just like Casper. If you find Casper and my Mom give them great big bear hugs for me. I still smell the scent of Rose's every so often as I did the day you left us. I know that you passed through to say good-bye. I don't know if it is you or mom or both that brings me roses but, I know that you both are saying hello. The thing is that the scent of roses comes at the same time of the day that it did the day you left and when I have no flowers in the house. So, I know that you are there and take solace in your and mom's coming in to say that you haven't forgotten us down here. Your laugh and the phrase "finger it out" are with me every day. Marc and I have formed a wonderful bond during the past year and that is a gift that I cherish everyday. He really is a great friend and I don't know what I would do without him. I look forward to your next visit and it is OK to let me know you are there. Much love and hugs! Stella Dallas, Snowy and Sam

A lot has changed in almost one year, but of course you know all about that. I think I must have aged at least 10 years since then. That time is almost upon again, and I also realize how much nearer we are to our final "Winter Solstice". I've wondered if anyone else has stopped to realize the significance of this Good Friday to us. I think of it and of you often. A friend from L'il Pub told me that I have an angel with me. I've felt that for a long time now, even before you crossed over. You were always my own personal angel and always had faith in me, and I know that you are OK and doing far better in you new level. The Pinball Champ always got to the next level before I could. Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I love you and am still missing you. But of course you know that.

Dearest Charlie, You were always pleased when I referred to you as my brother ... and I will always think of you with love as my little brother, with your quick wit, humor, cheerfulness, generosity and kindness. Your care and concern for cats-dogs-plants (mine and yours), and Marc's well-being, meant a lot to me. You will be greatly missed. Lots of love from your big sister in spirit, Deeny

When I first left a message for you, I was too broken apart to finish what I needed to say. Now that I'm a little bit better and somewhat more coherent, I need so much to say thank you. Thank you for the 33 years that were the most wonderful years of my life. You were always so proud of that fact and so was I. You are a good and caring man, Charlie Brown, and I love you for that. They say that in the Kingdom of God there is no male or female, but only the souls of the true and pure of heart. You are there, my love. I miss you so very much, and I am always and forever yours. ILY! Marc

Charlie.... Just one more thing for ya big guy. If ya see my dog Bruno, and you will know who he is because you have seen so many damned pictures of him, let him know I will be coming soon, and would you keep him company for a while? He should be hanging right around the front of that golden gate. I am also looking forward to finally meeting you. It might be a while though. Let's hope.

Charlie,
I really got to know you when I was 10 years old. Your long hair and caftan that you wore were new to me. I was so sheltered as a kid I did not know that to think. Your unconditional love and friendship tought me not to judge people on appearance but on who they really are.You taught me a great lesson in life, and I thank you. I will miss your emails, skins, the humor you have always had, the way you asked about my children and grandchildren. Most of all.... I will miss you Gray Pony... You were an very importent piece of my life.
Love Always .....Lupe

my very favorite memories are times when i would come from behind the bar and take charlies beautiful pony tail and put it arcoss my head and tell him if he'd give me his ponytail that i'd have the most beautiful full head of hair anywhere. he'd always laugh and tell me he'd sell it to me for $150.00 i, of course would say no more than $100.00 he always threatened me that he'd sell it to the higest bidder. when i'd have a problem with my computer, i'd always get on the phone and he'd tell me what to do. we always had a special relationship because i had known him for so long i let him get away with things nobody else got away with. i will miss him. i hope he's caught up with roger and they're talking about old times.

Goodbye beloved cousin. I'll always remember us as those two skinny kids in Missoula who had so much fun and shared so many laughs until life took us separate directions. You loved my daughters as little girls, and were so looking forward to coming out here and seeing them again now as grown women with families of their own, who are also part of your family. You wanted to know everything going on with the little ones and feel a part of our lives. I'll love you always Charlie, and I miss you so much. Love, Mary

Dearest GrayPony…our friendship, while of recent origin, filled my days with joy and my soul with love and respect. I shall rejoice in the vue de votre esprit each time I open that Vue d’Esprit program and you will live forever in my heart. Bon voyage, my friend, and keep those angels laughing as you did for this little old lady from Montana.

My bud.... Graypony. I never met him in person, but I have been corresponding with him for nearly 10 years now through email. He has opened, read, and downloaded, and responded to all my silly emails about my daily activities, but most important, he never had a bad word to say. He was always thankful.
He was a great guy and I will miss him. And his cheerful emails.
