CHARLES A. NEWSOME SR.
Charles passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Magnus Henry and Annie Mae Newsome and brothers, Magnus Cardell and Kenneth Newsome. He is survived by two brothers, Larry Newsome (Rosalind), Ricky Newsome (Dianna), (Ex-wife) Josephine Newsome, a son Charles A. Newsome, Jr. (Merced) and a daughter Nichole N. Whitmire (Gregory); five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, April 18 at Prince Georges Community Church, 4401 Brinkley Rd., Temple Hills, MD, Pastor Devon Holly. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Professional services by R.N. Horton, Co.

I cannot believe a year has passed since Charlie departed this earth. I know that he is in a better place but I do miss his presence. In his life, he touched a lot of people's hearts because he was such a good-hearted person. His friendship will never be forgotten. May he continue to Rest in Peace.
