I knew Chip only briefly in local county business. But I would like to let Shannon know he talked of you often and you are very special to him. His Mother, he was always there for and was on his mind often.
May you have many sweet memories to look back on. He was always very jovial and taught me about tchotchkes that he loved to collect.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family

I am so saddened to learn of Chip's passing & extend my deepest condolences to Shannon & his entire family. I, too, am an attorney in Prince George's County and a Tufts graduate. I have known Chip for decades now, and knew him to be kind, intelligent, talented and always smiling. I often ran into Chip at one of our Bowie supermarkets and we would chuckle at his quite interesting grocery list -- it seems he was always cooking up something special for his family, especially during the holidays. He was a good man, gone far too soon...
