Charles Stevens Obituary

STEVENS, CHARLES F., JR. "CHUCK" (Age 76)

Of Ft. Pierce, FL formerly of Gaithersburg, MD died on Thursday, September 2, 2004. He was the husband of Margaret C. Stevens. Mr. Stevens served in the Navy during WWII and with the Army during the Korean war. He was a baseball head coach and an assistant football coach at Winston Churchill High School in Rockville, MD. Surviving besides his wife are four children, Charles F. Stevens, III of Germantown, MD, Patrick M. Stevens of Poolesville, MD, Colleen Chavez of Frederick, MD, Margie Stevens of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Dot and Barbara ; three brothers, Richard, Donald and James and eight grandchildren, Matthew, Claire, Hannah, Emma, Christina, Alyssa, Connor and Jack. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the HILTON FUNERAL HOME, 22111 Beallsville Rd., (Rt. 109), Barnesville, MD (hiltonfh.com). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 18230 Barnesville Rd., Barnesville, MD. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 14435 Cherry Hill Lane Ct., Suite 310, Laurel, MD 20707-4959.
