Christine PIerre (Age 60)
Passed away on October 23, 2018, in Annapolis, MD. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael; their four children and seven grandchildren; her brother and two sisters; and many, many dear friends. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD. On Monday, October 29, 2018 family will receive friends at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave. Millersville, MD, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a gift can be made to support Dr. Geoff Gibney's ocular melanoma research at Lombardi Cancer Center. So sorry to hear about Christine's passing. We worked together years ago, helping me start and run a clinical research center. Her enthusiasm was contagious, her leadership natural and above all she was kind and understanding as we struggled through the maze of the clinical research world.

I was very saddened by the news of Christine's passing. Within the past 6 years I got to know Christine and I admired her enthusiasm, kindness and spirit. She was truly an inspiration and will be dearly missed. My heart aches as a result of this tremendous loss. Thoughts and prayers for her family members as well as her work family.

Very sad to hear of Christine's death. She was one of the first persons I met when I became active in ACRP and I had the pleasure of co-presenting with her several times. Lovely in every way, a great professional and friend. May her memory be for a blessing to her family and all who loved and cared for her.

I was very saddened and shocked to learn about Christine's death today. I remember Christine with great fondness. I knew Christine professionally for more then 20 years. We had a business relationship and we spoke at conferences together and I served on several panels with her through the CTTI organization. I admired her business sense, thoughtfulness, drive, creativity and her tenacity. I also admired her adventurous spirit and her love for travel, particularly to exotic destinations. Most importantly, what I loved about Christine was her personality, zest for life and her always positive attitude. Christine died far too young. I am so sorry about her passing and send my condolences to her immediate family and her vast number of friends.
