He was my best friend in Baghdad. We worked together and had a lot of fun. He used to tell me about his fiancée, whose name is Jennifer. I live in Baghdad and I searched a lot for him but did not find an address. I want to contact his family. How can I do that?

Dear family of Pfc. Christopher A Sisson,
We want to say thank you. We understand that no words can be adequate for your sorrow. We certainly do not want to intrude upon your privacy. As Americans we want you to know that we deeply appreciate the ultimate sacrifice your loved one has made for all of us. We also would like for you to be aware that with this letter comes our special concern and prayers for you. We are all safer because young men and women who love their country, and know the value of a free nation, are willing to put themselves in harms way, and lay down their lives to keep this nation free and safe for all of us.
Your sacrifice is also very great. We know that we can give little comfort; however, the knowledge that your loved one did not die in vain, but died in the service of our country, gives each of us a noble example of the value of life, and the responsibility of freedom. We hope this will bring pride and comfort to you.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Sisson family in the loss of Christopher. I did not know Christopher , but my heart is broken and I am saddened for your loss of such a fine young person and hero. May God bring you peace in your heart as you reflect on all the wonderful memories you hold so close. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers. My heart was touched by the many wonderful/beautiful things written about you. Christopher it has been over 4 years since you were taken. Please know that you are my hero and you will NEVER be forgotten.

It did not take long for Chris to find a place in my heart as well as in my parents. No one has ever touched me, helped me, and been there for me as much as Chris was. He is a part of my most treasured memories. To this day he remains in my everyday thoughts and prayers, as he will be until the day we meet again. Chris was a friend, then a soldier, now an angel. He always had a smile on his face and always lended an ear. Chris was one of a kind and will be missed greatly. He leaves behind a wonderful mother and father, and two terrific sibblings, who without him, wouldn't be who they are today. Chris, please continue to watch over all of us, as you did in life. I never had the privelage of knowing Chris. Even though I never met him, I feel like I know him almost as good as many of my friends. Mike Sisson always looked up to him, as do I. When I think of war, I think of a far off place involving people I may never meet. When a loved one dies all of a sudden everything is more real. Our happy lives have been purged and we can no longer stay oblivious. We are so busy with our lives, that we may know we love someone but it is hardly ever shown. A recent letter provided three very valuable statements. The first point made was, "At least five people in this world love you so much that they would die for you."
Later they point out,"If not for you, someone may not be living."
Lastly they reveal,"Someone that you do not even know exists loves you."
Yes, he does.
My deepest condolences go out to Chris' family. His love for you was clear. His love for the world is revealed.

My brother, my friend, and now my guardian angel...I would like to thank everyone for their continuing support, love, prayers and kind words through this most difficult time. Chris thank you for always looking out for me, even when I pushed you away. I am very proud to call you my brother even before you became a hero in everyone elses eyes...you were first in mine. I wish I could have gotten a chance to get to know Chris, but from the few times we spent time together, I could see why so many people love him. He was so funny and full of life. I also feel like I know him because Mike loved him so much and always talks about him. I was really affected by Chris' death because it is so sad that he's no longer here, but I was also affected by your family's love and resilience. You will always be in my prayers.

To say Chris was just a wonderful boyfriend and friend is not enough. He was an amazing brother to Bill and Falon; son to his mother,father,stepmother; friend to all; protector of his country and so on. He was a joyous soul that filled our lives with much love and character. I will miss him dearly. I must say I was very lucky to have him as not only an amazing boyfriend at one time...but an outstanding and caring friend as well. To everyone that reads this there are a few things that I feel everyone should know about my great cousin Chris. First of all he was one of the greatest guys I have ever known or probably will know in my entire life. He was also very daring and adventureous. I am happy to say that yes some of the adventures we took were pretty stupid and a little too risky than they should be(do I have to mention landing as close to the pier as possible?) But there was no greater risk than the one my cousin took this last year. He went to Iraq to fight for my country and his. This was the greatest risk my cousin took and I am so very proud to say that he was my cousin. I will never forget my cousin, he will forever live on in the heart and minds of myself and my family. Thank you everyone for their kind words and prayers. They are greatly appreciated.

Words cannot express our sympathies. Chris was a student of my wife at RBHS and I know that her memories of Chris are fond. My wife (Dawn Strand) said that he was always polite, respectful and full of life. I know that the entire faculty of RBHS shares your grief and mourns the loss of Chris.

Chris was a very sweet,loving young man.One of his goals was to please everyone all the time as a hard working person,On the soccer field he always gave 110% ,but wishing he could have done more.
