Psalm 121:1-8;
1. I lift my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from?
2. My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3. He will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber; 4. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The Lord watches over you--the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7. The Lord will keep you from all harm-- 8. the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

To the family of Chris Byrd
I was saddened to hear the news of Chris's passing. I met Chris when I started working at C@P Telephone in 1979 at the Fairland Data Center. He became a friend and mentor to a very shy and inexperienced young man. As I see from the testimonials, this was the rule with Chris and not the exception. I will truly miss him, but his impact in my life will continue to last. May the God of all comfort and hope continue to be with you.

I am saddened to hear that God has taken this wonderful angel under his wings. Chris was a warm, thoughtful and friendly person who could put a smile on your face at any time. He loved music and loved to sing. He will forever remain in my heart, there was truly no one like him and he will be deeply missed. Family - he loved you all sooooo much and you will always have that and many wonderful memories. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Love you!

William,Kristina and the rest of Chris's family, My prayers go out to each one of you. Chris was truly a shining star, always a joy to be around and just making anyone around him happy. He had a smile that would lighten up any room and a heart of gold. He is now spreading joy in a better place that we all should hope to see one day. Always look to the Lord for comfort.
