Uncle Bobbie and Yvette, Bill and I would like to be with you today, unfortunately we are not able travel. We will continue to pray for all of you. There will always be a special place in my heart for Aunt Clarice. All of my life she never forgot my birthday and always sent me a card. When I was in the first grade, she was in High School and we rode the same bus. She always looked out for me on the bus because on the first day of school, I fainted and she took care of me. Even though she was only 11 years older than me,I felt like she was closer to my age. For years I called her Rice as the years passed I realized that I needed to start calling her Aunt Clarice because she was my father´s youngest sister. She always reminded me that I was her oldest niece. I have lots of memories of all the wisdom that she spoke into my life and we had lots of conversations. Our children and grandchildren will always remember her and loved her like Bill and I did. Hold on to all of your memories. Love y´all.

Mrs. Sears was a peach - small, sweet, and loved by many. Her small stature did not stop her from being a substantial woman; her sweetness did not prevent her from telling it like it is; and her lovable southern nature did not conceal her wisdom and worldly charm. For years she worked in Yvette´s yard next door to me-planting, digging, fertilizing-all the while stooping (not kneeling) as she showed me her gardening techniques. I couldn´t stoop like that but I´m a better gardener because of her. And Mrs Sears was generous in every way-remembering birthdays, being there for special occasions, sending food or gifts and cards. Have you tasted her tuna loaf? Oh my, dee-lish! Kellie and I will miss Mrs Sears immensely. She truly was a beautiful peach. And sending so much love and sympathy to Mr. Sears, Yvette, and family.
