To La Verne, Ouida and Lisa, and the DeSett and Hodge families:
We love our dear Cousin Reggie and have many beautiful memories of him over the years. Reggie was blessed, accomplished, successful and made a positive impact in the lives of many on this earth. We will certainly miss his sincerity, humor and laughter. Our prayers are with you, as the Lord grant you peace and comfort at this time and always. As Philippians 4:7 says: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Love, Cousins Candace Cooper and Alexis Cooper Smith

We were deep-deep friends for over 80+ years. Nothing can top that. I have laughed and cried with this man, Reggie, through thousands of memories. We always had each other's backs without thinking about it. We lived in a neighborhood where "being raised by a village" was the reality, never a concept! When I look at that handsome young face I cry with the knowledge that he considered me as a deep friend. Whew! Will I miss you and love you forever. Only my old bones keep me from being a pall bearer. Wait for me my dear friend. I shall be with you soon. Condolences to LaVerne and his extended family.
