Clifton Wanzer Obituary

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, Clifton Wanzer peacefully departed this life. Born in Alexandria, VA, he and his beloved wife Irene Wanzer later settled in Glenarden, MD. Clif dedicated his life to excelling as a trailblazing Air Traffic Controller, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to those who loved him. Survived by his beloved wife Irene Wanzer; devoted son Kurt Wanzer; siblings, Gerald Wanzer and Janet Golden, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his daughter Leslie Hall, sisters, Camilla Poe and Jaunita Boggerson, and parents Daniel and Viola Wanzer. Services previously held.
