CONSTANCE ELAINE LEIGH
Peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2012 of Forestville, MD. She is survived by three sisters, Catherine M. Chesnutt, Christine Smith (Samuel) and Vernice Vaughan (George); a brother, Eldrich H. Leigh (Patti Ann). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Katie Leigh; and a brother, Joshua Leigh, Jr. Ms. Leigh will lie in state at First Baptist Church of Marshall Heights, 4934 "B" St. S.E. Friday, August 31 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Dr. Lehman D. Bates, officiating. Interment Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boykins, VA. To Chris and the rest of the family I sign this with a heavy heart, Connie has been one of my closet friends for over 35 years and even through her toughest times she always maintained a reassuring attitude for others. To Connie, I will forever miss our times together, to my daughter you were Aunt Connie, now there is no more pain you fought a good fight. God knew it was time for your rest and called you home,I love you and am honered to have called you my FRIEND
