I am deeply saddened by the news of Connie's passing. I will always remember her as being the best neighbor to me and my family (Henry and Gladys) while growing up on 19th Street. She even gave me my first "job"- babysitting Keith an James Ellis. My deepest sympathy to you all and may God bless you and keep you in your time of sorrow.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ms. Shivers' passing. She was such a wonderful and kind person, and I will miss her gentle spirit and sense of humor.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and do not hesitate to ask, if there is anything I can do for the family.

Connie will always be remembered not only as a wonderful neighbor for many years but as a true friend to my parents (Henry & Gladys Morrison). She always had a kind word and a smile. I am saddened by her passing and my condolences go out to the family, but I know God is so pleased to have one of His beautiful Saints come home. God bless Connie and her family.
