Curtis Wayne Hoffman (Age 60)
Passed away on December 30, 2019 at Fairfax Hospital. Born in Georgetown, Washington, DC, on July 2, 1959. He was the son of Wayne Carlton and Anne Marie Hoffman.He is survived by his mother, Anne Hoffman; brother, Greg Hoffman; nieces, Caitlin Hoffman, Kelsey Sohail, Shelby Penka and Halle Hoffman.Friends may gather at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will occur on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to lustgarten.org

Must admit, the news stings. I go back with Curt "Tree" in those college care-free days. He could keep you laughing until it hurt. What those close to Curt know, his large stature was only beaten by big his enormous heart and love of friends. I miss him already. Rest in peace my brother...

We only knew Curt thru Jim n Sharon at first then shared a beach vacation or two with him...Found him to be such a unique, fun loving guy who kept you on your toes with his wit! So glad to have spent some 'after hours' time with him recently at my brother Gary's funeral and the day after. Pray God rests his soul....

No one who ever met Curt will forget him. His loving and loyal heart was the biggest part of this big man--followed by his courage in fighting this last battle. We'll love you always, dear friend.

You always lit up the room no matter where you were. There was always laughter when you were around. I will miss your antics and hugs. I will miss running into you around town. But I guess I will miss that nickname little one. Which you called all of us shorter than you which was everyone. You fought a brave battle and gave us hope. I wish you the happy ever life. I will miss you my Tree. Until we meet again.... fly high my friend.

The world was a better place with Curt in it. We will truly miss him. He always had that great smile and a beautiful compliment to greet you with. A genuinely nice man.
We want to be at the services but Nick is in the hospital. God bless.
