My Beautiful Grandmother,
Words can't describe the level of heartache that I feel right now. The only thing that provides relief is knowing that you are no longer suffering and you are with our love ones in heaven. I am going to miss you so much. You have given me so much love , so much joy and laughter, many endless hours of conversations, you instilled values and morals and most importantly you gave me memories that I will hold dear to my heart for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for being the beautiful soul you were. Until we see each other again fly , LADYBUG, fly.
Love Always,
Dwayne, Jr.

Mother,
Words can't express the pain we feel from losing you. We will miss your smile, laughter, words of encouragement, your joy, and your servant heart. GOD allowed you 80 years on earth and you used those years to serve others well. It was always what you could do to help someone else. Now it's your turn to rest and celebrate eternal life. You will be forever missed. We love you with all our hearts.
Love Always,
Your daughters

Dottie and I met about 60 years ago in Boston and she was one of the sweetest and most loving people I know. She will be truly missed. I believe that if there's a heaven above Dottie's teaching angels how to love!

George and family, peace and blessings in this very sad time.

Miss Dottie was a forever part of our family, her mother being my grandmother's best friend and she was my aunts best friend. She loved me and entrusted me with my very first baby sitting job as a teenager. Growing up I knew her as my other aunt. I will never forget her and am so glad to have been able to speak with her a few months ago. Family please know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot bear. You all will be in my prayers for many days to come.

I am so Deeply Saddened by the news of Cousin Dottie's passing. She was such a Beautiful Person both inside and out. Unfortunately, we would only see one another at funerals but she'd always share fond memories of my dad, who was one of her favorite Cousins (John R. Savoy). I know it was her hearts desire to get the family together besides funerals, so I pray we can find a way to make it happen. Cousin Dottie, you will be Sorely Missed. I will always Love you and I'm praying for the family.

Dottie, as I knew her growing up has been a part of my life since we were very young. Her mother and my mother were best friends and as a result we as children became best friends. I can't imagine not having her in my life. Someone said if you knew Dottie you have to love her. She had a personality and a kindness unlike any one that I've ever known. To say she will be missed is an understatement. We have truly lost an angel

Our family matriarch lost. I am deeply grieved to be parted from her physically, but she will always have a place in my heart. Her memories will be cherished. She expressed a wish to have a Savoy family reunion in 2020. I am hoping others will join me in making that come to fruition. I hope to carry forth our family tree and welcome support for our ancestry tree to this and future generations.

Cynthia was such a wonderful person and many of my earliest and best memories at NOAA have her at the heart of them. She would always say to me that this person or that person was her sister or brother -- for the longest time I thought she must have had the biggest family around until I caught on that she just embraced the concept of "the family of man". It would take us forever to get from point A to point B because she always had to stop and ask how every person that she knew (and she knew everyone) was doing and then inquire about all their family. She was an amazing person who leaves behind a legacy of love. More than a great co-worker, she was a wonderful friend who helped me find my way back to the Church. God Bless her and hold her close!!
