GUTHRIE CYNTHIA ANN GUTHRIE On Sunday December 21, 2008 at the Washington Home and Hospice. Cynthia Ann Guthrie, a career public librarian, professional storyteller, and resident of Washington, DC and Port Huron, MI. Beloved wife of The Reverend Charles E.N. Hoffacker. Loving mother of Sophia Elena Hoffacker. Devoted daughter of Charles John and Mary Elizabeth Guthrie of Mt. Prospect, IL. Sister in-law of Toni Hoffacker of Wayne, PA and Michael Hoffacker of Strafford, PA. She is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins and her dog Alex. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday December 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday December 27, one hour prior to the offering of the Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church 5150 Macomb St., N.W., Washington, DC 20016. Additional services will take place in State College, PA and Port Huron, MI. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Port Huron.
