Hard to believe it's been 7 years. I still remember Dan's infectious smile and goofy jokes, aside from his lawyerly demeanor in court. Best wishes again to Beth, kids, and extended family.

March 7, 2019.
Today I realized that I hadn't spoke to Danny in about 5 years, so realizing I didn't have his number , I searched his law firm. I am in a state of shock to put it mildly . Danny was a very close friend of mine during our days at the University of Florida, he was one of the finest human beings I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always smiling and fun, we shared a love of sports especially basketball and of course all things Philly, as he attended Villanova and his Dad was from there. He was smart and helped me through a very difficult time in my life. Anytime I had a problem I could always rely on Dan to listen and offer good advice. The last time I saw him was at Camden Yards for a Phillies -Orioles game. He brought his 2 young sons with him. It was very obvious that he loved his life, as he spoke in glowing terms of his family and profession. We were young playing lots of hoop and drinking lots of beer, and he shared his dreams and they became a reality! My condolences to his family ( he was simply the best as you know) RIP my great friend !

My mother Claire Flynn Reardon and Danny's mother were childhood friends in Torrington CT. My mother died recently and, reading through her records there was a letter from Danny's mother Betty Shea. I put Betty's name into google and found this. So sorry. I remember Danny and his siblings swimming at Tyler Lake so many years ago, in the 1960s. Our codolences to the entire family.

B, I am SHOCKED to learned that your husband passed when I read your father's obituary on Facebook. I didn't know and I am terribly sorry. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes, as I can't believe it. I remember when you guys dropped me off at Union Station when you were going for one of your boys game. Again, I am deeply sorry.

I placed a call to Dan last week and left a voice mail thinking he was on vacation with his family. Earlier today I received a call from one of his associates informing me of his passing. I have know Dan for more than 30 years. He passed on my Birthday and his life will be celebrated every year on that date. Bless the family, associates and friends who knew and loved him.

I just learned of Dan's passing, ironically, in court this morning. His picture reflects his positive attitude. As a fellow Villanovan, we often exchanged info on the basketball team
He was one of the stalwarts of the Bar. I am deeply shocked and saddened at his passing.
