DANIEL L. WILSON  
Daniel L. Wilson of Arlington, VA died unexpectedly October 28, 2014. He collapsed while doing fall cleanup in his front yard. Neighbors and EMTs tried to resuscitate him but could not restart his heart. He was 62. Dan was a graduate of Penn State University and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dan retired after a career in IT. He served as IT manager for Biometric Research Institute and as consultant with Booz, Allen in their health sciences practice. Dan was an avid music listener, mystery reader, cat lover, and community volunteer with the Arlington Medical Center. He was the son of Lawrence and Lula Wilson of Pittsburgh, both now deceased. He is survived by brother Andrew T. Wilson and sister-in-law Dr. Ronnie-Gail Emden of Portland, Oregon; his niece Amy E. Wilson and nephew Thomas B. Wilson, both of New York City.There will be service of remembrance for Dan on Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Dan's memory to one of the following:Outpatient Alcohol/Addictions Program at the Virginia Hospital Center where Dan volunteered for many years. Donations can be made through the Virginia Hospital Center Foundation, www.virginiahospitalcenter. com; CAT (Cat Adoption Team), http://catadoptionteam.org; Washington Animal Rescue League, www.warl.org; or American Heart Association, http://www.heart.org
