DANIEL LEE WYNNE, SR. (69)

Of Temple Hills, Maryland, died on May 3, 2007. He was born in James City County, Virginia on June 1, 1937 to the late Rev. Thomas and Mattie Wynne. He graduated from Bruton Heights School, Williamsburg, VA in 1957. He was later united in holy matrimony to the late jean palmer. From this union they were blessed with five children, Carolyn Carter, Bernice Wynne, Danette Davis, Adrienne Carter, and Daniel Lee Wynne, Jr. Danny, as he was affectionally called, is also survived by his brother, Rev. Thomas Wynne, Sr. (Ellen); four sisters, Viola Jones (Leland), Glendora Johnson, Thomasine Wynne and Zolena Wynne; his uncle, Joseph Washington;10 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces; nephews, cousins and two devoted friends, Genova Mckenzie and Clarence Taylor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Chickahominy Baptist Church, Toano, VA. Family and friends assemble at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday at 3281 Chickahominy Road, Toano. Mr. Wynne may be viewed at WHITING FUNERAL HOME, 7345 Pocahontas Trail on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. Whiting Funeral Home in charge of arrangements (757) 229-3011.
