Dear Tom, Arthur, Thomas & Christopher,
What a great "lady" Darlene was. It was a wonderful time in the Shannon family when all of us could laugh together. Our prayers and our love go out to all of you. Darlene will forever be in our hearts. She was a very special lady.

Sir,
Although I did not have the honor of meeting your wife personally, I have had the pleasure of speaking with you many times during the kids football games last year at Ft. Belvoir. You are a reflection of the woman whom God placed in your life and I know from my dealings with you that she had to have been someone so very special. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. You were indeed blessed to have such a woman in your life and the mother of your children. Her celebration of life showed me just how many lives she touched in some way. Know that God is with you and your family through your loss.
