Suddenly on Sunday, August 7, 2016 Darryl went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of family members and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Israel Metropolitan CME Curch, 557 Randolph Street, NW, Washingtom, DC from 10 a.m., until time of funeral at 11:15 a.m. Interment private. Services entrusted B K Henry Funeral Home.

Darryl Hensley, God saw you getting tired, a cure not meant to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered. "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watch you and saw you fade away although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your tender hands at rest, God took you home to prove to us he only takes the best. Rest In Paradise Darryl.
