I admired Randy from the first time we met over 30 years ago. A true Renaissance man, he was highly intelligent, incredibly well-read, fantastically multi-talented, yet always unassuming.
Randy and Susan were a good match, so it was no surprise they brought Nathan and David into the world; nurturing them to become the incredible young men they are today.
While the pain of losing Randy will lessen over time, the memories of his abundant life and everlasting love for Susan, Nathan, David, Kathy, Robby, Jenni and the rest of the family will endure.
And even in sadness, I smile knowing that the meals in heaven dramatically improved as of yesterday...
Susan, Nathan and David; bear hugs and much love to each of you. I hold you dear in my heart.

I just remember the first time I met Randy. He showed up at Susan´s apartment in Adams Morgan wearing a trench coat and carrying the largest Magnum of Champagne I ever saw. We all sat down to dinner. The table was covered with a beautiful table cloth that Susan´s mom had given her with the advice that, "young people should have and use beautiful things.". The dinner was filled with fun stories and lots of champagne. It was obvious Randy and Susan were wild about each other. My condolences go out to Susan, their two remarkable sons, and the extended family.
