I thank God for the Lifetime contributions of the Rev. & Dr. Ruby Reese-Moone to me as an individual and to Montgomery County, MD and America. It was my good fortune to Learn from and work with Dr. Moone in initiating the MD State Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference for 13 years. Also, She was our clergy on the Board of the United Black Fund, Inc. of the D.C. Region and served on the Montgomery County Dr. MLK, Jr. Commission. Dr. Moone also served many MCPS students over the years with fantastic counseling and development services and pastored with her husband, Rev. & Dr. James Moone at the Mt. Calvary and Peoples Community Baptist Churches. She also served the Pastor/Leader of the University of MD-Black Clergy Team. Dr. Moone's "Sweet Hour of Prayer" on Wednesdays at Noontime was a great endeavor bringing People into commune with the God, his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Finally, Dr. Moone was a Leader who always put The People, First. I thank God for the "great works" of the Rev. & Dr. Ruby Reese-Moone.

Oh! how Grateful I Am for the priviledge God provided for me to share in Ministry with Dr. Ruby Reese -Moon while she was Pastor for Inspirational Worship at the University of Maryland. Here in this photo, she, a minister, mentor, and motivator is honoring me? She was a true Encourager and Educator, Equipping all who entered the Path of her Journey. And so, I also joined with her and Prayer Warriors across the Country in Praying for the Nation, as we all may Continue, each Wednesdsy at Noon.
And Thank You God for her Amazingly Shared Gifts and Courage and Wisdom.
Ya'll Pray, Now, YA' Hear?

I am sending my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family and many friends whose lives she touched. Dr. Moone whom I knew, loved, and worked alongside for many years, will be sadly missed. She leaves a legacy that will live on in perpetuity.
