David Wayne's sudden homegoing was a shock to all who knew of his energy and zest for living in a wholesome world. We will miss him and his contributions, but most of all we will miss his loving smile, his wonderful sense of humor, and his love of family.

David Wayne I will forever remember the times we played togather as children. When you would run chickens play with the dog and the way you would show us you could pick tobacco and get us in trouble with my father. We were all bad kids I have never forgotten the love we had for family. Even though we got grown and had our own lives I will never for get the early years.

Judy:
I just heard about David today at work from my daughter,Tina. I was shocked and sadden. My heart goes out to you and your family. I was there. I'm gonna check to see if Henry (Walter's brother) knows. If I can do anything, please free to call me. Hang in there!. Believe me, God will carry you through this. He had his reasons for allowing this to happen. It was a shocked to me when he took Walter, but He'll help us to make it. When things get too heavy, just stop, tell yourself to relax and pray.

Family, may the peace of God strengthen you and keep you during your time of sorrow. My dad, the late Walter L. Spriggs, would often speak of David as a great and trustworthy man, whom he admired. I was honored to have known this great man and his family. My prayers are with you.
