David Fitzwilliam Obituary
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025 of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved father of Sandi Vollmer (Rick), Gregory (Margaret), Gary (Debra) and Timothy (Deysi). Devoted Grandfather of James (Elise), Steven (Katie), Danielle, Nicklaus and Allison, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Peter (Sandy) Fitzwilliam. Dave earned degrees from the United States Naval Academy and the Wharton School of Business. He worked in sales for IBM for 32 years. He was a single digit handicapper who had a hole-in-one and shot his age or below dozens of times. His other passions were Brazilian music, dancing, bridge and the North Bethesda Rotary Club.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, September 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11200 Old Georgetown Rd., N. Bethesda, MD at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
