David L. Minter

David L. Minter, 82, transitioned peacefully on August 16, 2022. His loving family includes wife Alice Fay Minter; daughter Dr. Rochelle Daniel and granddaughter Krystal Daniel; sisters Elizabeth Minter and Seresa Simpson; brother William Minter; sons-in-law Tony Daniel and Ned Izzard; and many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Izzard. The homegoing service will be held at Isle of Patmos Baptist Church, 1201 Rhode Island Avenue NE, Washington, DC, Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Viewing at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 8401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD. Service entrusted to Marshall March Funeral Home of Maryland.

Faye, you and Dave were such a great host and hostess as I visited with you in your home. Dave and I toured DC. He made sure I saw any sites I was interested in and he pointed out others. Dave was always such a gentleman. I miss his his soft spoken voice and caring attitude. Thank you for sharing Dave with me. Faye, know that you both are loved.
