David Mullen Obituary

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025 David P. Mullen of Potomac, Maryland passed away in the company of his family. He was 90 years old.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 29, 1934, David was the son of the late David and Mildred (Maher) Mullen. He is survived by his beloved sister, Judy Rose.
Devoted husband of the late LaVerne C. Mullen for 61 wonderful years. Dedicated father to Beth Mullen, Susan Mordan (Paul), Jill Kent (Andy), Terry Mullen (Nicola), Joan Mullen, Maureen Mullen, Colleen Hubeny (Schon), and Megan Fortenberry (Lawrence). Proud and cherished grandfather to 20 grandchildren.
David had an accomplished career in retail with Woodward & Lothrop and the May Company. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of both Congressional Country Club and Bel Air Country Club.
Memorial Mass Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Road, Potomac, MD 20854.
