one of David's key passions was Trinity College Kandy, Sri Lanka where he, like his brothers, had their grounding to become Gentleman out of schoolboy rascals! At Trinity he won the Ryde Gold Medal for the best All-round Student in 1947.He wore tat Medal proudly and never failed to towel tall wearing it. He was the founding President of the Trinity Alumni Association, Washington DC. At the time of his passing, he and Kris remained active members of the Trinity Family and will remain an integral part of the School's history. M. V. Muhsin

Words do not do justice to describe this incredible gentleman! Uncle David was a loyal and faithful family friend (going back over 60 years) who would visit us in Kandy in the 1960's laden with thoughtful gifts chosen with care. His dry wit and Medical School jokes would keep us in fits of laughter. In later years, he would always keep in touch, and visit whenever possible. Aunty Kris, Romarro, and Marcel were exceedingly lucky to have him in their lives, as I did, and will miss him very much. A life well lived, worthy of emulation and celebration!
