DAVID REEL "Blue" (Age 64)  
On Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC after a brief illness with cancer. "Blue" was loved and admired by so many. He was very gentle, laid-back and kind. He touched many lives in a positive way. He will be truly missed. He leaves to mourn, his devoted wife Mary Parker-Reel; his loving mother, Richardeen Reel; daughters, Nellie and Davina; son, David, Jr. (Tawana); stepchildren, Diane (Earl), Harold III, and Sonya; his beloved brothers and sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Wake at 10 a.m., Funeral at 11 a.m., September 16, 2011, East Friendship Baptist Church, 4401 Brooks St., N.E., Washington, DC 20019. Interment Heritage Cemetery, Waldorf, MD. Arrangements by Capitol Mortuary.
