DAVID SEAGER Obituary
DAVID JONATHAN SEAGER
September 22, 1996 ~ February 10, 2018 Jonathan was an immensely loved son, brother, and friend. He graduated from Oakton High School in 2015. He enjoyed lacrosse throughout and beyond his high school years and was involved at every level: playing, teaching, and coaching. While he was taken from this world too early, the years he spent with us were full of happiness and laughter. He was known to light up a room, uplift others, and always had a smile on his face. His selfless nature, smile, and kind demeanor will be remembered by all. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Kris Olsen and Dave Seager; his sisters, Samantha and Jessica. He also leaves behind his paternal grandmother, June Franko; his aunts, Sue Seager, Laura Seager, Katherine Olsen and Cindy Yencer; cousins, Jenna and Jason Lewis, Dustin and Brandon Yencer; as well as a host of his loving friends who have become family. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Money and King Funeral Home. The viewing will be at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA on Friday, February 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, February 17 at 10:30 a.m. The funeral services will be 12 noon February 17 at Saint Mark Catholic Church To offer online condolences and fond memories and for further details please visit: www.moneyandking.com

You were one of my first friends in elementary school. My first contact in my first phone. And for some reason on Christmas every year we would wake up at 3am to celebrate. You were many firsts for me in a school where I didn't have many friends and your smile would light up a room. I can't thank you enough for being there when others were not at even such a young age.

Jon- I was so nervice when I transferred to oakton. I didn't know many people, I didn't know how to get to class or even interact with girls( coming from an all guys school). You were there though. You welcomed me with open arms to your friend group with Gavin, Dave, skinner and Brett. You became one of my closest friends. Once we were teammates on lax team junior year I knew we would have a lasting relationship. You were a hell of an athlete and even better friend. I miss your eyes. I miss looking at each other and laughing for no reason. I miss laughing at Byrd and Tiller during class. There aren't enough things I can say that reflect how much you meant to me man. I know your laughing now though. You're in a better place and I will see you again, brother. I love you Jon. I love your family. Thank you for being you, I love you.

Dave and Kris, we were so saddened to learn of Jonathan's passing. We will always treasure the times that were spent with Jonathan on VYI and Oakton teams and with Dave coaching. Jonathan was surrounded by love and friendship. His light will shine eternally. Sending love and peace to your family.

Kris, Dave, Samantha and Jess, I am so very sorry for your loss, Jonathan was a true gentleman with a smile that could light up a room. I first met Jonathan when he played VYI lacrosse on one of my teams. Over the years I would see him and his teammates as their OHS Varsity lacrosse practices concluded and my youth practices began. He always stopped by to say hello, offer a handshake and ask if there was anything he could do to help. The last few years if I saw him at a lacrosse game or at Giant he always went out of his way to say hi and ask how things were going. He was one of the most respectful young men I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
