David Stitt Obituary

STITT DAVID TILLMAN STITT (Age 65) Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge On Saturday, May 10, 2008, The Honorable David T. Stitt, Judge for the Fairfax County Circuit Court, passed away after suffering a heart attack while on vacation with his family in Topsail Beach, North Carolina. He was 65. Judge Stitt, who resided in McLean, was the beloved husband of wife Liz, devoted father of daughter Rachel Elmendorf of Washington D.C. and son Samuel T. Stitt of Princeton, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 8 at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 3K of the new Fairfax County Judicial Center, 4110 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in David‘s name to The Fairfax Law Foundation, 4110 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 215, Fairfax, VA 22030-4046

David was a wonderful attorney, judge and counselor. He was a kind and endearing person and he certainly has left him mark. For those of use lucky enough to have known him, thank you.
