Shirley, Patti and family ~ I am saddened to learn of Holkie's death. I am grateful that he attended last year's 40th high school reunion and reconnected with many classmates. It was fun reminiscing about Lincoln School days, junior high dances, and skiing at Skyline. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to your family.

I was lucky enough to call Dave my friend for over 22 years. We first met when I worked for the town of Hancock, MD. We spent many hours talking not only about work, but about family. I know many people across the state of Maryland and other states will miss him. Anytime I hear Badger Meter the first thing I think of is Dave Tuholski because to me he was Badger Meter. My deepest sympathy to Patti and the family.

I was sorry to hear of your loss. I went to graded school and High School with David. He lived at the bottom of the hill and I lived at the top. While at Lincoln School we took a class trip to the White Mountains in NH. On the way home David got sick. Poor thing he had to sit in the front of the bus for the rest of the trip. Funny what we remember. I will remember him with smiles.

Holkie's fighting spirit and positive attitude were an inspiration to all of his classmates who shared some time with him at our high school reunion last year. His presence was a gift to us. I talked with Holkie from time to time this past year, and it was a real treat to connect once more with the guy who was playing with trucks at my 4th birthday party! As he said, "Some of us go back a long way." I'll miss him. My thoughts are with you all.

Whenever I think of Lincoln school, David will be in my thoughts. He was such a sweet boy growing up. Everyone liked him. I fondly remember a snowball fight with him on the way home from school in second grade and being scolded by mother for not being "lady like". :) I regret not seeing him at the last high school reunion. I am thinking of you at this sad time.

So sorry to learn of Holkie's passing (those of us who grew up with him have a hard time calling him David). It was good to see him one last time at our 40th reunion last year, even though he clearly wasn't feeling well. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Barre, as we lived on the same block. I have fond memories of our childhood and high school years. Our thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear of your loss. David was a classmate at Spaulding High School. It took a great deal for David to come to our 40th class reunion, we are thankful for that great effort. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was a Spaulding High classmate of David's. We were in the same homeroom for four years and shared some classes together. I will have fond memories of David.
My Deepest Sympathy to you and your family. May he Rest in Peace....

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. David and I had the same homeroom for all four years of high school. I was unable to attend last years reunion so I am sad that I didn't get to see him again. May God bless you in this time of grief and give you peace.

On behalf of David's classmates from Spaulding High School's Class of 1968, accept our heartfelt condolences at David's death. We recognized the effort and energy it took for "Holkie" to attend our reunion last year; sharing with us it would likely be his last. I went to school with David (6th grade through high school). We enjoyed reminiscing about the "good old days"! He told me he was grateful to be given the time to spend with you and the kids.
May your memories give you and your family peace.
