David Whitenack Obituary

WHITENACK, DAVID S. (Age 82)

On July 1, 2004. Born in Doylestown, PA, a son of the late Rev. George M. and Margarette Schulze Whitenack. Lived 33 years in Bucks County, PA and was a graduate and class President of Doylestown High School, Class of 1940. He graduated from Penn State University in 1949. He resided in the Washington, DC area since 1955. He was employed as a Conservationist and Administrative Specialist for Soil Conservation Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture for 32 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, Springfield, VA. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving as a technical sergeant with the Ordinance Department. Beloved father of Ann Izac of Basye, VA. Survived by his two sisters, Helen Bryan of Perkasie, PA and Caroline Whitenack of Doylestown, PA. Friends may call at EVERLY-WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA on Friday, July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held for relatives and friends at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, 8336 Carrleigh Pkwy., Springfield, VA on Saturday, July 10 at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following at National Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church.
