May the God who promises unsurpassable peace as we keep our minds stayed on Him, grant you continued peace and comfort. Anniversaries of this kind often come with a mixture of the pain of the loss and the joy that stems from pleasant memories. May prayer is that as you remember your son and brother that your joy will outweigh your pain. Be blessed & Stay encouraged! (GULC '93)

Dave/Mary,
I accidentially stumbled upon a news article regarding your son's passing and cannot comprehend the grief you must be enduring.
While I never knew your son personally, I remember time spent with you and your daughters and can only imagine the warmth and love bestowed upon your son by your entire family.
From someone who also lost a close family member recently, trust me when I say they may be no longer physically with us but those we love never truly leave us. A scent - a gentle breeze - a familiar sound will always remind us of their presence.
Thinking of each of you with the fondess of memories -
Kevin

Dearest Wilmot Family - The deep pain and sadness has kept me from writing sooner. To lose a son is like loosing a piece of your heart. The grief and emptiness is so huge. The magnitude of you lost is so much greater than anything I can say. May my love and support comfort you. xoxox Kaia Balsz, Law 1987

Dear Dean Wilmot,
I first met you when I was a G'town undergrad, at a Big East tournament in NY. During our walk from dinner, you said that if I wanted to, I could attend G'town law school. A few years later, I took you up on your word and you proved yourself faithful. I cannot thank you enough for that opportunity.
I pray that God will comfort you and your family with His presence and His peace during these difficult days and restore your joy in the days to come.
Be Blessed & Stay Encouraged!
