Dad words cant express how much I miss you as my father. You always loved me for me despite our differences. I wish I could have known you better because now that your gone I juat want to hug you. I miss you telling me to take out the trash or to clean up the counter or to put dishes into the dish washer after I ate. Its things like these I truely took for granted and now I wish I had done them when you asked me and not saying at the next commercial or in 5 minutes. I loved how we could always laugh and talk about sports and how well or poorly the Redskins and Orioles were playing. I really liked talking about Tiger Woods and sharing that common bond with you. Now that your gone I can't play golf with you like we used to and go fishing at Nags Head. I expecially remember when we worked on the stone patio in the front and back of our house. It took us two years to finally complete but we did it together, you and me! I didn't tell you much that I loved you but I do! Boy, I wish you could have seen the church that day, I never knew you had so many friends and when I heard all the good things people said it made me feel so good. There will never be another person on this earth like you and I'm a very lucky to have had you as my father.

May each of you know that God is with you, he is sustaining you right now. Even in this dark hour, you should know that God's love is what will allow you to face the new day.

I hope you will derive comfort from the fact that so many people have you in their thoughts and prayers and you will find further solace in the many happy memories you have of your rich lives together. God Bless you always!
