To Deb's Family, I submit to you that I am in need of healing too, as I return from today's annual NIH conference to surprisingly find at the left of the registration desk (where Deborah would always stand to happily greet the registrants), her tribute. So I share the words of Billy Graham that I hope will comfort you, afterall, I immediately took time to reflect about my loss of a well respected social work colleague. "God possesses infinite knowledge and an awareness which is uniquely His. At all times, even in the midst of any type of suffering, I can realize that He knows, loves, watches, understands, and more than that, He has a purpose." Our social work family will never be the same.

May God continue to comfort all who loved Ms. Dozier-Hall. We can all look forward to the time when death will be no more and instead of tears of sorrow there will be tears of joy. I know she will be missed by many. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.
