DEBRA ELLEN SCHWARTZ SAPCARIU
DEBRA ELLEN SCHWARTZ SAPCARIU, age 53, of Clarksburg, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones, ending her courageous cancer journey. Debra is survived by her mother, Sue Schwartz, her daughter, Anna Michelle, her stepsons Sean (Fabienne) and Scott (Alexann); her grandchildren, Timo, Finley and Kaila; her brothers Barry (Jennifer) and Jeffrey; her nieces and nephews, Geena Nicole, Ethan Thomas, Taryn Lea and Max Donald and many family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Sid Schwartz. Debra was an inspiration to everyone lucky enough to know her. Her joy for life was infectious and her love for people, animals and nature was unparalleled. In memory of Debra, please find a "silver lining" and something to be "grateful" for every day! Debra will be terribly missed by her family and many friends, including the veterinary community in Montgomery County, MD, of which she was a part for 30 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, 12:30 p.m. at Shaare Tefila Congregation, 16620 Georgia Ave., Olney, MD 20832. Interment following at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Shiva will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, https://give.ovarian.org/campaign/In-Memory-of-Debra-Sapcariu.
