On Wednesday, October 17, 2001, at his residence. Beloved husband of Martha S. Young; father of Daniel of DC, Richard of Myrtle Beach, SC, Genevieve Brown of Lexington, KY and Rebecca Metro of VA; brother of Carol Schwartz of FL, Annette VonDohlen of NY and Patricia Savino of FL. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Friends may call at DeVOL FUNERAL HOME, 2222 Wisconsin Ave., N.W., Washington, DC (parking opposite of 2233 Wisconsin Ave) on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 22, 11 a.m. at the Church of Annunciation, 3810 Massachusetts aVe., NW. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sibley Memorial Hospital.
