DENISE CHERRY-GASKINS
Denise Cherry-Gaskins transitioned into eternal life on March 8, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her father, Dempsey E. Cherry; brother, Derwin E. Cherry; fiance', Earl Sam; granddaughters, Maleya and Auriya Petty and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalind A. Nickens Cherry and her only son, Marcus L. Gaskins. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 9th St. NW. Family hour, 10 a.m., followed by Service,11 a.m.

Denise was a beautiful soul. So strong. So vibrant and kind. I really miss seeing her at The Dental Group but I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
