DERMOT JOHN O'NEILL
On Sunday, February 19, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of Ellen O'Neill and the late Jeremiah O'Neill; loving brother of Maeve O'Neill, Deirdre O'Neill Calcutt and Kathleen O'Neill; uncle of Victoria, Kyle and Emma Calcutt. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, here, in England and in Ireland. Friends may call at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 10103 Georgia Ave., Silver spring, MD 20902, Friday, February 24, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's House.

You are missed each and everyday. I often remember the sweet phone call from you wishing my mother and I a Happy Valentines Day when we were in Vegas for market. You always were so kind and would do anything for your family and friend's. You might have left this world, but you have not left our hearts. I know one day we will all be together again and when that time comes, we shall see who can pour a better Guinness. Until we meet again my friend, fly high Angel.

It still seems like yesterday that you were trying to teach me how to drive your tow truck in the middle of DC at 2a.m. what a show that was, lol. I miss you so incredibly much and I truly hope you are at peace now. You are missed by so many and your memory will live on forever. You brought so much joy to everyone you encountered. Dermot is someone that will be forever missed and never forgotten. I have so many memories from grade school at St. John's to our wild and free days as a teenager. His laugh was contagious and will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family and close friends. God Bless You.

all of my condolences to the O'niell family and friends of Dermot. He was a great man alwayse laid back, easy going, with a great sense of humor. This world is definitely a lesser place without him here. And the tow industry has lost one great operator. RIP Dermot.

You were as loyal as humanly possible to those u loved so much and loyal to your beliefs. You stood tall for what you believed in and wasn't arrogant about it. Though I didn't know your family well, your awesome character revealed the great virtues your family surrounded you with. My love and prayers go out to you all. I have very fond and happy memories of Dermot and with the entire family, a family who always made all of our friends from Good Counsel feel like part of the family. I always enjoyed joking around with Dermot, he was always giving me a hard time, just what famlies do. He will be missed so much and by so many people who loved him, but he will never be forgotten.

Dermot, it's been years and I was just a little girl when your family took me in. Your were full of life and light as I remember you. You were kind and made me laugh. I wondered after hearing the news if you could have seen how many lives you touched and how much you mattered if you would still be here. I pray you have found your peace.
