DORIS C. MESSICK (Age 84)
On Monday, June 18, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Raymond De Sales Messick, Sr.; mother of Michael (Diane) Messick, Raymond (Patricia) Messick, Jr., Jane (Jeff) Baker, and Catherine (George) Weckel and Mary Frances (Stacy) Milford. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, June 25, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Doris was a beautiful person who we all will greatly miss. I know this is sad time for the family, but hope they all take great comfort in knowing that she is joining her beloved Ray in Heaven.

Doris was a true friend to many - She had a great laugh and always saw the good in everyone. I loved her like a mom and will miss her great smile. To her wonderful family there will be a great void and know our prayers are with all of you.
