DORIS MESSICK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lion Doris Messick of Leisure World, Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Takoma Park, MD. Lion Doris is the former President of the North Silver Spring Lions Club and wife of the late Lion Raymond Messick. Visitation will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Francis J. Collins Funeral Home, Inc. Silver Spring, MD. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Parish, Leisure World, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC.

Doris was a beautiful person who we all will greatly miss. I know this is sad time for the family, but hope they all take great comfort in knowing that she is joining her beloved Ray in Heaven.

Doris was a true friend to many - She had a great laugh and always saw the good in everyone. I loved her like a mom and will miss her great smile. To her wonderful family there will be a great void and know our prayers are with all of you.
