DOUGLAS RITCHIE Obituary
DOUGLAS MALCOM RITCHIE
Beloved son of the late William and Eva Ritchie departed this life at age 64 on June 11, 2017. Devoted husband of Rev. Charlotte Ritchie; beloved father of Kenneth "Tony" Ritchie and loving sibling of Brendolyn (Robert) Jasper, Gwendolyn (Charles) Ray, William (Alfreda) Ritchie, Jr. and Terri (Jerrold) Brown. He also leaves to mourn brothers-in-law, David (Ahn) Jackson, Lonnie (Ann) Jackson and Gary (Marsha) Jackson. He is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation at 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Ebenezer AME Church, 7707 Allentown Road, Ft. Washington, MD. Interment immediately following service at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Lung Association, 475 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001 Arrangements by the Ritchie and Johnson Funeral Parlor Inc., Beckley, WV assisted by the Marshall-March Funeral Homes of MD Inc., Suitland, MD.

Bro. Doug Ritchie will be remembered as a genuinely kind and gentle person who always greeted everyone with a smile. His love for Christ automatically shone through his character and disposition.
