Ed Thomas Obituary

Thomas

Ed Thomas

On October 9, 2023, Ed Thomas passed gently from this life surrounded by family and his loving wife, Patricia, with whom he cherished every moment. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He was especially loved and respected by his grandchildren. His influence extended beyond family into the community as he dedicated countless hours and boundless energy as a youth league coach and, later, as a coach for the Little League Challengers. Ed was an avid gardener, golfer and loved playing softball with friends and taking his children and grandchildren fishing. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. where a service will immediate follow at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, Virginia, with a private burial to be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Hamilton, VA.

Sorry to read of Ed's passing. Met him15 years ago at NVSS. He was a godd teammate, a friendly opponent and a positive influence on the softball field. He knew the game, and enjoyed the company of others, and earned the respect and friendship of many of his fellow ball players. I will miss him.

I knew of Eddie and Pat through his Mom and Dad Paula and Eddie, Sr. as I worked with Paula at Georgetown Hospital for many years. I have visited their graves in Hamilton and now he will join them. God bless you
