As this holiday season comes to a close, I am remembering Ed. He was a long-time special friend, and I continue to be saddened whenever I think about the type of man he was. May God continue to bless his many family and many friends.

Although I am an old friend of Ed's, today I discovered that he is no longer with us. So happy to have known such a fine man and missing him dearly.

He was a very kind hearted person. When I was going thru a rough period he helped me thru it. I will never forget his kindness and will be forever grateful.

My first memory of Ed Washington was when I started working at CIVIL SERVICE. He saw the kind of worker I was and several times told me where there were openings. That boosted my career in the federal government. He was always smiling and encouraging. To the family you are in my prayers and have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
