Reverend Dr. Eileen Crawford
Reverend Dr. Eileen Crawford gained her heavenly reward on December 25, 2022. Celebrating her life and cherishing her memories are daughters Fern Clark, and Dr. Monica Crawford; her son Robert Crawford (Valerie); her stepdaughters, Judge Murriel Crawford and Dr. Camille Crawford.
Memorial service to be held at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2100 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC on Saturday, January 28,2023 at 3 p.m.

Our memory of Eileen takes me back to the cherished days of The Secret Pals Club, a group she graced with her presence for over 42 remarkable years. Now, as we step into 2025, the remaining five members find ourselves well into our twilight years. Though we no longer gather monthly as we did for over five decades, the bonds we forged remain unbroken.
Eileen was an integral part of our unified friendship-a friendship that grew, endured, and thrived through the changing seasons of our lives. Her warmth, spirit, and kindness are etched into the heart of our memories, and as long as we are here, we will hold her in loving remembrance.
Eileen´s presence may no longer grace our virtual gatherings, but her essence lives on in the stories we share, the laughter we recall, and the love that continues to connect us all. She will forever remain an important part of The Secret Pals Club and the tapestry of our lives.

I met Eileen in the early '60s, and our friendship has stood the test of time. This picture captures a moment from a Halloween party in the 60's when she was just aspiring to graduate, maybe even dreaming of a Ph.D. The journey since then was filled with shared memories and cherished moments. Here's to the enduring bond of friendship! I miss Eileen but she shall forever be in my heart.

I am so sorry to realize that my land lady and friend Eileen has passed away. So kind, inspiring and a true sweetheart. I was looking forward to visit her lovely home again this October. 1933 Calvert St. will remain a warm memory forever. Rest in peace dear Eileen.

Dr. Crawford was my daughters therapist for five years. Sue came into our life when our daughter came to DC for college. We are so so so sorrow and are grieving her loss. We are with your family and are holding you. Thank you so very much
