On Friday, March 21, 2003, ELAINE SEMEL SORCHER of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Sorcher; devoted mother of Deborah (Bruce) Berman, Leonard Sorcher and Alan (Dale) Sorcher; cherished grandmother of Joanna, Eli, Jill, Leah and Ethan. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 23, 11:30 a.m. at the Washington Hebrew Congregation, Massachusetts Ave. & Macomb St., N.W. Interment Garden of Remembrance Cemetery, Clarksburg, MD. The family will be observing Shiva through Tuesday at the residence of Deborah and Bruce Berman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Hebrew Congregation or Adas Israel Congregation. Arrangements entrusted to EDWARD SAGEL FUNERAL DIRECTION, INC., 301-217-9400
