I met eleanor through the James Renwick Alliance in the late 1980's. She embraced a still very green gallerist and through her eyes and many from the Renwick Alliance and Friends of Fiber Art, she ignited my love of textiles, encouraging my curating, writing and teaching. I never tired speaking with her about art and her gardens. She and Sam were very special in supporting what has become a 40 year career.
