Of Elm St. Broadway, died April 6, 2004 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Summers was born May 15, 1917 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Grove Alexander and Henrietta Leake Riglemon. She was a member of the Timberville Church of the Brethen. She had worked at the Coffee Shop at Endless Caverns. On September 1, 1938 she married Galen M. Summers who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter and son-in-law; Janet Gale and Gus Bass of Waldorf, MD; one son and daughter-in-law; Jimmy David and Joanne Summers of Bluemont, VA; grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Bruce Gilbert, Donald and Kimberly Summers; great grandchildren, Ashley Gilber and Samantha Summers; three sisters, Helen Emswiler of Timberville, Jackquelyn "Jackie" Mitchell of Roanoke, VA and Jean Russell of Alexandria, VA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard G. "Jimmy" Riglemon. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the GRANDLE FUNERAL HOME in Broadway, VA. A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Bernard Fuska, Friday 11 a.m. at the Timberville Church of the Brethren. Burial will be private at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made t the RMH Hospice Unit, 235 Cantrell Ave., Harrisonburg, VA 22801 or the Broadway Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 666, Broadway, VA 22815.

My deepest sympathy to the family. To this day I still remember the fun weekends where the old gang use to get together and go to the Summer's home for a fun filled weekend.
