Elise Miyoko Ciampitti (Age 43)
Elise Miyoko (Emmons) Ciampitti, 43, of Naples, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland, with her family by her side. Born on December 17, 1981, in Maryland, Elise lived a life defined by kindness, integrity, and generosity.

Elise was the devoted wife of Tony John Ciampitti, beloved daughter of Grey and Lurie (Shima) Emmons, and cherished sister of Grey Shima Emmons. She was also the loving sister-in-law of Jessica Liu, and proud aunt of Dabney and Grey Emmons. She will be deeply missed by her father- and mother-in-law, Tony and Rose Ciampitti, and by her sister- and brother-in-law, Rita and Adam Wells, and their two children. Elise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Miyoko Shima.

Elise earned her bachelor's degree from George Washington University and her MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She served as a Special Advisor to the Director of the United States Secret Service and later as President and CEO of Grace Management.

Elise's loving and giving spirit, her great big smile, and her selfless generosity will be forever remembered. As an organ donor, she gave the gift of life to five recipients, a final reflection of her lifelong compassion and kindness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th, at 1 p.m. at Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, 7001 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815.
