On June 20, 2003, of Collington, MD, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Wife of Maurice M. Bernbaum; mother of Edwin M. Bernbaum and L. Marcia Bernbaum; sister of Matilda J. Hahn; grandmother of David and Jonathan Bernbaum, Shana and Leah Zallman. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 11 a.m. at The Interfaith Chapel at Collington, 10450 Lottsford Rd., Mitchellville, MD. Interment on Thursday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, DC. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in memory of Elizabeth Bernbaum, c/o The Ellington Fund for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, for the Visual Arts Program, 3500 R St., NW, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20007.
